A youth is a person under the direction of his/her own thought, A person between the age of 12 to 25 years of age,it is obvious in our world today tha the recklesness of the youth is a concerned issue.When an individual decide to give in to the act of violence,indiscriminate sex,rubbery e.t.c could be refered to as Moral Decades.The youth, being the livewire of every society, needs the attention of all stake holders to correct this emerging disaster. I have researched and found some factors responsible for this.
One of the factors responsible for moral decades in our society is poor parenting. Most parents are aware of their childrens involvement in social vices and remain quite about it, This may be as a result of such children being the bread winner of the home. So,correcting them is as good as killing the goose that lays the golden egg.
Another factor, highly responsible for moral decades is peer group. Just as the saying, 'Show me your friend and i will tell you who you are'; has shown that the constant affliation or miggling with unnutured behavior corrupts good manners. For example, a child tha constantly associate with gang stars shall surely turn out to be a street boy someday.
Every problem has a solution. The government in her policies is possible way out. Religious bodies in their campaingn against sin is another solution. Lastly, every parent should take to good parenting without compromise.
